Original, iconic and rare 1950`s Longines Swissair larger size man’s steel pilot watch in excellent condition and just serviced.
Ref. 6630
based on Longines Heritage`s response the movement is the correct caliber but the serial number does not match this watch`s original one, it is possible that during a service the original movement, o parts of it, have been replaced with parts from another movement of the same caliber
“The reference 6630 identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel produced in 1955 for the national airline company Swissair. It is fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 37.9.
Based on the pictures received, we can deduce that some transformations have probably been done after the watch has left the company”

The original black silver-gilt 24hrs dial is in excellent condition, it shows no time patina and no oxidations, original hands
The original steel oversized case it is in excellent condition and it measures 42 mm, without counting the original crown. The case has an inner steel caseback with its nuber matching the one on the outer caseback
